On my Dell laptop I have a CD writer Till yesterday it worked perfectly well Yesterday impossible to write all my audio .cdr files on it. Curiously, the burning always stops during the writing of the eight track (coincidence I suppose) Instruction: cdrecord -v -eject -speed=1 dev=0,0,0 -pad -audio trackx*.cdr I have about 10-11 tracks but impossible to write them all The messages I have at the end of burning: 10 of 48MB written (last track!!! stops after 10MB) (fifo 100%).cdrecord: Inpeut/output error.write_g1:scsi sendcmd: no error CDB:2A 00 00 -- -- -- -- status 0x2 (CHECK CONDITION) sense Bytes -- -- -- -- -- Sense Key: 0x3 Medium Error, Segment 0 sense Code:0x0c Qual 0x09 (write error - loss of streaming) Frw 0x0 The problem is probably with the CD burner (I tried it on two laptops) but if anybody can interpret the error messages? -- Alain Barthélemy bartydeux@gminformatique.com cassandre@gminformatique.com http://bartydeux.gminformatique.com
