I have just tried K3b ( is that the best way to write it?) on the new SuSE 8.1 I am very impressed. The first time I started it the 'K3b Setup Dialog' started and guided me thru the setup, but it had already found my Plextor CD-Writes and the application packages needed so I only had to accept

Once you start the process K3b puts up a cool 'progress' box that shows % of completion. I must say this is impressive.
