Isn't it used to as a bridge for DCOP (KDE's interprocess commuication protocol)? I have a programming book on KDE 2.0, which I think covers this topic. I don't have it with me, but I could take a look at it later if you would like.

Could someone describe briefly, or point me to a document which describes what XML RPC Daemon is about? I saw that in the KDE Control Center and would like to understand what it does. KDE itself doesn't have any document for this module.

They put it there to make people ask questions. :-) Actually that is a very interesting question. Are you familiar with the general concept of RPC and XML? I'm no world expert on the topic, but it is rather interesting. Beyond the general concepts, I know very little about the KDE RPM XML, (KRX?).
