I'm having a problem upgrading a host from either 6.x or 7.x to 8.0 (can't remember what this host was). The installation seems to go normally until it starts upgrading packages. On my system it needs to upgrade about 390 packages. I chose the Minimal installation with graphic support. When it gets up to less than 20 some packages installed, around 6% of the total, it suddenly goes into the package configuration mode and reboots the system. There doesn't seem to be any unusual entries in /var/log/y2log. I've tried running YAST2 in text mode, but this doesn't affect the problem. Anyone seen anything similar to this before? Any suggestions? Thanks for your help and suggestions. -Kevin Zembower ----- E.
