For those using APT at 8.0 or higher, there is some good news: The repository now provides the small patch rpms (prpm) that SuSE releases when updates are made to the base packages. See the component list information at the SuSE APT information page (http://linux01.gwdg.de/apt4rpm) The patch rpm components have "prpm" in their name. One remark/note/warning: the patch rpms can be used to install an rpm in that case you need to retrieve the regular rpms first.... This can be achieved by removing the concerned patch rpm component form the sources.list file. -- Richard Bos Without a home the journey is endless
