I have a Radeon 8500 and am trying to use the dual display. Distro is 8.0, desktop KDE3.
I used fglrxconfig to set up the monitors, one 17 inch as monotor = and a 15 inch as monitor1.
I first got the 15 inch as the active display, halted the machine, swithed the monitors so that the 17 inc is on the DVD connection with the adapter.
Now I have the 17 inch active and working as it should (except the saved session setting wasn't there)
The 15 inch monitor shows a brand new KDE desktops with the default settings.
But how do I access it? I've tried to find some info on the net but haven't found any so far.
When I run fireglcontrol i get an infopanel and a panel for adjusting the gamma on each screen, but no panel for configureing the monitors.
