There is also a certification through Red Hat - called RHCE - Red Hat

Append: In my opinion more knowledge is always an advantage, the more
certifications you have ... the better for your career. At least getting
several certifications cant hurt, and learning something new always helps.

I'm looking at getting some kind of Linux Cert to prove that I have some idea of how linux works.
Does anybody have any opinions on which is better:
CompTIA's Linux plus Or the the LPI LPIC-1?
Or should I rather just try and do both eventually?
