On my most recent install of SuSE 8, i have working sound under my user account and no error messages in the xconsole display, but when logged in as root I get a alternating copies each of the following two lines displayed in the xconsole: modprobe: can't locate module sound-slot-1 and modprobe: can't locate module sound-service-1-0. What does this mean, and should I be concerned? tia, dave -- David C.
