Hi I've just installed the Nvidia kernel and GLX files. I downloaded the rpm files from the Nvidia site. I used Kpackager in KDE and then ran the SuSE control centre and select monitor and graphics card (I think that's what it's called) from the hardware section. Seems to have worked fine with my nvidia GeForce 4 MX420. I couldn't seem to find the XF86config file with the section the installation help was talking about - modules. So I did it the way I've described above and I'm getting great frame rates now. Regards Martin Horton Hi, I'm running a Geforce2 ti on Suse8.0 Would like 3d. I have downloaded the correct drivers and also done a yast2 update. I then edited the XF86Config file for device "nvidia" and module "glx" i get a black screen. If someone has NVIDIA running please send me your XF86config info. tried sax2 also but same problem. am i missing a symbolic link perhaps?
