In SuSE 8, when in Kmenuedit your entries must appear in the SuSE sub folder. The other folders are for the standard KDE menu if you select to use it. The 'K' menu reflects what is contained in the SuSE folder of Kmenuedit. gberta@sympatico.ca wrote:
Hi all, I have run into a problem with version 8 and kmenuedit. When logged in as user I open kmenuedit to make some changes and I notice the following. What comes up in kmenuedit is not what my menu actually has in it. Then when I add an app or change the location of where I would like the app to appear the changes are not reflected in my menu. Never had this problem using kmenuedit in mandrake, but that was done through their control panel, as su, and YaST doesn't allow for menuediting that I have found. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Gord
