Hardly in yast2. If anything, it's a bug in the runlevel scripts, although on the machines I've upgraded to 8.0 I'm not seeing it. I'm running inetd and portmap wasn't started. As a matter of fact, I'm not seeing any rpc services in inetd.conf at all, so I don't really see why portmap should ever be started because of inetd. But if you're really seeing a problem, edit /etc/init.d/inetd.conf and remove portmap from the "required-start" line. //Anders
