Today I was attempting to change some data on my MS passport account. The site would not accept konqueror 2.2.1 as a supported browser. It requires IE or NS 4.2 or greater. (MS expedia.com would not let me log on last week either.) I have to use some MS for my business. The "answer" to my passport private personal question has been compromised. I am unable to log on to change it. Time is critical! I know nothing about netscape or how to configure it for security. Is NS any less secure than Konqueror 2.2.1? Both default installs 7.3 Pro. Will a newer version of Konqi solve this? Does NS send private data to anyone automatically like IE does? Does NS collect private data in hidden files that I can't delete? I would be installing the NS that comes as default on the Purchased Box Sets of SuSE 7.3 Pro. I have never updated anything on my system that is not updated by "YOU". I really don't know how to do it any other way. After dealing with MS since DOS days I am quite paranoid. They have info on me from 20+ years ago connected in some way to my passport profile account. Of course I authorized that data by agreeing to "any" current update and any other data they have from any other transactions. TIA Tom Land -- Linux SuSE 7.3 Pro Kmail
