hello people, What opinions do you have on the Suse Email server? I just picked up a customer (doctor's office....actually a whole building...3 floors). They are interested in getting their email service in-house. They were wondering about what email server would better suit them. I made them aware of Exchange (one of the doctor's sons told them about this.....) I told them about the high maintenance cost of it and that it's not good with security...too much baby-sitting required to keep it working good. I also made them aware of Lotus Notes...which is VERY nice, but costs more. Then I suggested a linux email server and he was curious. I told him I'd get back to him with recommendations and a list of features. They are interested in group collaboration and remote access (webmail). The features I've seen on the Suse email server website seem just right for them.....are there any other email servers I should consider? They have an all win2k network (servers and wkst.) and 1 SCO Openserver 5.0 Unix running oracle. They were also curious about oracle 9i and the email services included in that......any thoughts or opinions on that platform choice?? Thank you all for sharing opinions and experiences on email servers! Oskar
