how to write DVD's, advertised in 8.0

On the website and on the SuSE 8.0 distribution box it mentions the *new* feature of being able to write DVD's. I have SuSE 8 and a Pioneer DVD writer. I couldn't find any details on this feature in the books that came with SuSE 8 nor the website. Anyone know anything about this feature? thanks Nathan
