Did that and nothing particularly enlightening showed up there on a reboot.

Nope. And I don't see the message about starting dhcp at all. I see a message from this morning, before I had the router working properly that says Jul 16 10:38:14 linux checkpc[1845]: Get_local_host: hostname 'dhcppc1' bad Jul 16 10:38:55 linux lpd[1847]: Get_local_host: hostname 'dhcppc1' bad But there's nothing for the last few hours about that or dhcp at all. Progress?
