Hi, Sorry if this comes twice. Got that DSL problem solved - it was the fact that T-online sent the wrong user name. New problem. I rebooted the linux machine after it was able to access the internet so: Suse8 > router > DSL modem > internet During the process of trying to get it installed I had gone in desperation to the Suse DSL Config menu, which asked me ONCE whether I use T-online. I said yes. I cannot append that choice. Now when I reboot, eth0 does not start (it says "failed") and dsl0 DOES start. How can I stop dsl0 from EVER starting again and make sure that eth0 starts on boot? Many thanks in advance Nick
