I have the SuSE Pro Office CD-ROM. Besides Start Office 6.0, it does offer updates on SuSE8.0, however all of them were not applicable to my system, since I was using the online update throught YAST2, and my files were more up to date then the ones on the CD. So Staroffice was the only value for me. KDE3.0.1 is on the CD-ROM. -- Frits J. Wüthrich (Sent with Kmail) On Saturday 13 July 2002 23:02, Doug McGarrett wrote:
There are some updates (to Linux and KDE) on the special offer SuSE Sun StarOffice package. I don't have the url at hand but it should be in the archives. I haven't installed the StarOffice package yet, and when I do, if no-one else has reported on it, I will. Since I saw a demo of the StarOffice package last Feb at the NY Linux show, I was quite impressed, and I'm anxious to try it. (I think it is available for Windows and Mac also, but the Mac version may not be ready yet.)

Hi,
I wonder if SuSE 8.1 will be out very shortly.
I see that whenever SuSE will put a new release, the KDE build is hold until the new release is out.
ex. KDE 3.0 for 7.x out after the SuSE 8.0.
and now there's no KDE 3.0.2 and Gnome 2.0 on SuSE web pages.
I'm eagerly want to see the 8.1
Better put a clothes-peg on your nose, cause the smell will get stronger and stronger the next 5-6 months ;-)
