Hi, I'm trying to install a program in SuSE 8.0 Pro, Kde 3.0. When I do ./configure, I'll get this (below): loading cache ./config.cache checking host system type... i686-pc-linux-gnuoldld checking target system type... i686-pc-linux-gnuoldld checking build system type... i686-pc-linux-gnuoldld checking for a BSD compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c checking for -p flag to install... yes checking whether build environment is sane... yes checking whether make sets ${MAKE}... no checking for working aclocal... missing checking for working autoconf... missing checking for working automake... missing checking for working autoheader... missing checking for working makeinfo... missing checking for gcc... no checking for cc... no configure: error: no acceptable cc found in $PATH I don't understand it. I thought th 8.0 pro contained everythin needed. Are there no c compilers in SuSE 8.0 Pro? Or what? Any clues? Regards, Thomas
