However, if you read the posting, you would see that the issue was with the packages and not apt-get. I am still unsure if there is a problem (as I also stated), but if there is: #¤%! ;-) I have also managed to install Mozilla with apt-get (finally). I am still unsure about the difference between "java2" and "unixODBC" and the whys and wherefores, but at least Mozilla is working :-) Cheers, Brian
