Try using the Safe Installation, but replace the defaults with 'mem=XXXM'
where XXX is the MB installed in your machine or you can use 'mem=xxxxK to
specify in KB the RAM count you see at boot time.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone on this list has had any luck installing Suse 8.0 Professional on a Compaq Proliant 1600R. <snip>. The last thing which tries to load is ncurses after Suse installs the ramdisk. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Steve
