Hi all, What, in linux, is the proper way to remove a program that was installed as tar -xvzf (program name.... ./setup . I am referring to OpenOffice.org1.0.
The OpenOffice setup program has a removal option, so in this case use that. More generally speaking the answer is to delete all the files you unpacked from the tar archive. That's a pain, which is why we use RPM or APT these days. -- 8:38am up 58 days, 43 min, 2 users, load average: 0.22, 0.15, 0.17
