Hi folks,
I got interested in the RoboCode thing, and went and downloaded the .jar
file. After getting help figureing out how to 'open' a .jar file (for anyone
else who may want to know, it's unzip ), I've got it all placed in
a directory now all by itself.
The website gave instructions on how to 'start' the program, cd to , type ./robocode.sh , unfortunately all this does is give me the
java 'help' list. It tries to explain how to use it, but it got me easily
confused, and ended up being no help. I just can't seem to figure out how to
open up the program in a java console (if that's what I'm even looking for of
course).
Is there some kind of app or command that will 'start' this program? Is
there anyone else using linux and this program in here? I'll also be asking
the folks on the website in their forum there, but I think most of them use
windows, since they say this program runs a little slow in linux for some
reason.
Any help with this appreciated, and I hope I conveyed what I'm needing well
enough, I know sometimes I don't, even after rewriting it 3 or 4 times.
John
