The only difference in 8.0 is the package version is ucdsnmp-4.2.3-76. If you check out /usr/lib which is where the lib resides. You can do this.. rpm -qf /usr/lib/libsnmp-0.4.2.3.so This will tell you which package it's from. * arawak (arawak@blueyonder.co.uk) [020704 11:55]: ::Hi :: ::I was trying to find libsnmp, but I do not now where to find it & which ::rpm it is in there are so many. :: ::Is there an easy way findout where a lib resides in which many rpms? :: -=Ben --=====-----=====-- mailto:ben@whack.org --=====-- Tell me what you believe..I tell you what you should see. -DP --=====-----=====-- -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com
