You need to add them to the KDM setup - edit this file: /opt/kde3/share/config/kdm/kdmrc Look for the line that starts SessionTypes and add icewm, enlightenment then restart KDM (rcxdm restart)
I have tried to install IceWM on two machines and failed each time ... it appears to install but nothing appears on the login menu (which has the same seven options as before i.e. kde, windowmaker, sawfish, gnome, mwm, twm & failsafe). Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? I also want to try enlightemenet and had the same problem with that ... on the plus side I actually tried a few that I could find and I rather liked "Windowmaker" (NextStep like) and it strikes me that if I realy want to abandon Windows then I ought to adopt a more UNIX-Like (which I assume Windowmaker to be) GUI. -- James Ogley, Unix Systems Administrator, Pinnacle Insurance Plc james.ogley@pinnacle.co.uk www.pinnacle.co.uk +44 (0) 20 8731 3619 Using Free Software since 1994, running GNU/Linux (SuSE 8.0) Updated GNOME RPMs for SuSE Linux: www.usr-local-bin.org
