If you want to upgrade there is nothing stopping you. I upgraded to 1.0rc1 and now to 1.1a with ease by following the instructions on the mozilla site. Here's the link: http://www.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla1.1a/ I've only been using SuSE for 2 months and had no trouble figuring this out. No offense, but I'm often surprised on this list by the number of people who feel if YOU/Yast2 can't install a piece of software then it is somehow uninstallable. I agree it'd be nice if SuSE held our hands through every modification of our systems, but personally I'd rather the folks at SuSE devote their time to working on improving the distribution in other ways and ask me to figure out how to follow clear instructions off a software developer's web site. Let's give them a break and take on some work for ourselves! We just might learn something. Rodd Ahrenstorff wrote:
Why isn't Mozilla 1.0 available via YOU? The 1.1Alpha is already released...it can't take that long to verify 1.0 vs. .9.8 that shipped with SuSE 8.0.
I sure would like to upgrade to 1.0.
