Greeting Good Suse People, I have recently switched from RedHat to Suse. A successfull installation has been made on my laptop. So far so good. My next move is to install Suse on my win2000 machine and finally on my "server". The server basically runs a mailserver (I'm switching from sendmail to Postfix) and a IPtables firewall...as well as functioning as a gateway for the home network. I was wondering a couple of things 1) any general suggestions fro my server, I was thinking of putting the mail server on the w2k machine (after installing suse ofcourse) 2) suse has a personal firewall configuration thingy in Yast...does it use iptables? and where does it store its configuration?? 3) is there a list somewhere that shows you exactly which packages are installed in the different install alternatives that suse use? 4) how do I get rid the stupid suse splash that shows during boot? 5) How do I become an all ruling, super wise, hero type of dominant world leader? Sincerely Thomas
