I'm using a scsi Pioneer 305S slot DVD drive. Definitely less CPU usage than my IDE DVD drive. Suse 8.0 pro recognizes it without problems and Xine uses it perfectly.

Just wondering if anybody has a SCSI DVD drive and has it working under Linux, and has any positive/negative comments? I'm thinking of taking the plunge. I notice that there aren't very many SCSI DVD drives on the market, almost everything is IDE. I'll go with ide if I have to, but would rather not.
