I have to share this one with others. I came across a very nice UML tool called ArgoUML. It has many warts, but for a 1.0 Open Source product which does much of what very expensive tools would like to do, it is certainly impressive. Part of the reason I'm telling others about it is to generate interest on the part of potentual contributors.
The latest CVS seems superior to the release. Building it was very easy for me.
I have tried ArgoUML in 2000 or 2001 and then I was already impressed. I have not downloaded the new release yet. (I rebuilt the machine it was on and did not install it again) And I agree. For a pre-release (at the time that I looked at it) it matched pretty good with proprietry software that is expensive. -- Andre Truter Software Engineer Registered Linux user #185282 ICQ #40935899 AIM: trusoftzaf http://www.trusoft.za.net <-------------------------------------------------> < The box said: Requires Windows 95 or better... > < So I installed Linux > <------------------------------------------------->
