Here is the info that I received on getting Webmin to work with CUPS. Please note that this is using the latest version, 0.980-1 and the lpadmin-0.980-1 module: "In the Module Config page, there should be two options that you need to change : 'Printer configuration style' and 'Printer driver style' , both of which must be set to CUPS. Also, because you have installed CUPS manually, the option 'Directory containing interface programs' must be set to the base directory containing the printer driver PPD files, which will be something like /usr/share/cups/model . Also, you should install the updated module attached to this email, as it adds support for compressed printer driver files that new versions of CUPS use." I have written in and asked that Webmin's printer module be designed so that is can access http://localhost:631/ After all, part of the logic behind Webmin is to centralize as much configuring as possible in one place, rather than using a web browser as we have to do now. The result of the above instructions at this point, is the opposite, in the sense that all configuration of CUPS is locked out with regards to page setup, DPI, etc. Anyone with anything to add to this, please feel free ;-) Cheers, Brian
