Have any idea what the ::problem is? If you downloaded all the files from supplemental/KDE then you should be able to do this... rpm -Uvh --nodeps --force *.rpm I would suggest putting those rpm's that were in the directory base into base and dev into dev..etc..etc. Then I would go into the base directory and install all of those pkgs then run SuSEconfig. Do the same with dev and apps. Each time after you install a section you should then run SuSEconfig to make sure everything is good. This approach has worked for me since 2.0.1 and I've nearly never had an issue with KDE. -=Ben --=====-----=====-- mailto:ben@whack.org --=====-- If it's true that our species is alone in the universe, then I'd have to say that the universe aimed rather low and settled for very little. -GC --=====-----=====-- -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com
