Hi!
Is there a nice solution for allowing normal users (perhaps with special permission) to allow shutdowns from KDE3 (or general x-window) with some kind of "shutdown"-button or do I have to write a (sudo)-skript or what can I do?
OF> Yes ...use Yast-Base Administration-Login-KDM Shutdown and choose all OF> ... then every user can shutdown the system I tried the yast2 options and configured that local users can shutdown the system - I think a normal user in front of the pc is "local" ?! ;) But after I cannot do shutdowns or reboots as normal user, only as root... There must be something special..? And: Is there a graphical button (something like the windows-start/shutdown-button) for shutdown available or do I have to use the shutdown-command? -- Bye. da_bug@gmx.net
