I've been using vi for years, but vim is new to me. I just launched it with a dos formatted text file. It is nice enough to recognize that fact and handle it nicely. Is there a way to tell it to go ahead and get rid of the Carriage Returns and turn this into a UNIX format? Note, I know how to use tr to do this, so if there is not a vim command, I'll do it the old fashioned way.
