I've tried a number of different things with no success. ---------------------------- Lionel B. Dyck <>< AIM: lbdyck Home page: http://www.lbdsoftware.com
Hi Lionel! Have you had a look at http://www.linux-wlan.com ??? It is the source for help with certain files for wireless stuff in 8.0. /etc/pcmcia/ has 5 files for wireless stuff: wireless wireless.opts wlan-ng wlan-ng.conf wlan-ng.opts obviously, the wlan files are the ones I'm talking about. ;) Here's a snip from wlan-ng.conf: <snip> card "NETGEAR MA401 11Mbps 802.11 WLAN Card" version "NETGEAR MA401 Wireless PC", "Card", "Version 01.00" bind "prism2_cs" </snip> I don't know how to configure it myself because I don't have wireless equipment, but I'm sure the site will help. It looked like a pretty good site. :) Once you get it working, please post back your steps so I can save them, and if you're not too busy, post your experiences for your laptop to http://www.linux-laptop.net so everyone can see how to do it! :) Cheers! Travis.
