Not sure what's up with the pcmcia in 7.3 but it's still not working with my Orinco Gold Wireless card. If anyone has the /etc/pcmcia config for this card and is DHCP to connect to a network, I'd be most greatful. Or any pointers.
The card is recognized fine, it's the network (DHCP client) that is not. I have other clients connecting to the server fine, just not my laptop.
I really appreciate the list.

I found this a little bit ago: http://www.linux-wlan.com -- the files they have are in 8.0, but not 7.3. I know not having the files is a problem, but you can probably d/l them. What I hope, is they'll be able to point you in the right config direction. I do know that your /etc/pcmcia/wireless.opts is the file you're supposed to configure, and the bottom of the file has a "generic" section for you to set it up yourself. According to this from the Wireless-HOWTO: http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Wireless-HOWTO-6.html#ss6.4 You should able to use Lucent settings for the card. :) Be sure to post back once you get it working and also, post your experiences to http://www.linux-laptop.net so we can all benefit from it. Hope this helps! Travis.
