Hi!
I have an DSL connection for internet. The connection is working fine. I use it permanently so it is permanently connected. I connect it with a script adsl-start as root. What can I do if I want that this script be execute as soon as system startup, everytime it boot?? So, when the computer start, at the login screen, the internet connection is already up and when a user login it can use the internet right away.
Thanks Martin
I have this script that launches my ADSL connection. #bin bash echo Starting ADSL /usr/local/bin/modem_run -v 1 -m -f /etc/mgmt.o #sleep 20 echo Launching pppd Skynet pppd call adsl & noip I've made it executable, called it S23adsl and put it in /etc/rc.d/rc5.d/ It works fine for me.
