Run Level Editor and 'chkconfig' question?

This is my first post to the list and SuSE 8.0 is my first SuSE distro. I've been using Linux for about 1 year. My question: I'm a bit confused by the YaST2 Run Level Editor and the command line 'chkconfig --list'. For instance the SuSEfirewall2_final/ _init/ _setup are shown as running in YaST2 but are not started in any run levels or boot by default. The same goes for the 'sane' and 'quotad' services. How exactly are they being started when no start option is set for either runlevels or boot? Thanks... -- Rodd Ahrenstorff www.pclinuxonline.com
