I might have missed it on the list but how do I move about with startup scripts that was in rc.config before? like I installed mysql and I can't find it for boot startup on rc.config, tried to look for it on /etc/sysconfig but i still don't see any startup configurations. please help
Yes, you can use insserv (see man insserv) like this: insserv /etc/init.d/mysql for setting up mysql at startup time insserv -r /etc/init.d/mysql to remove mysql from startup ... or use the runlevel-editor from yast to enable this at startup Oliver -- ... don't touch the bang-bang fruit ...
