And the answer is that YaST2 doesn't seem to care, FireGL board or no, it still runs, I guess, appropriately. Can't say as though I like the new YaST2 very much however. dave David Johanson wrote:

I have not yet tried to install 8, and I do have a FireGl card; has anyone with one of these video cards experienced this problem, i.e., having to perform a text based install vice using YaST2?
If yes, any advice on how to best perform the install?
