With the above system I can't connect to several Sun sites (ie; wwws.sun.com/software; www.iplanet.com; forte.sun.com/eap) with my browers (NS622; Konq3.0.0; Lynx) or telnet 80 either but I can ping them.
I have the same software you have and I can reach them just fine.
A rep from Sun has been working on it since late last week and now thinks it could have something to do with their Cisco Local Director and my OS interaction.
Hm. What does that mean? Cisco Local Director is a load balancer. How does it interact with your systems at all?
Any suggestions are welcomed!!!
What happens when you try telnet www.sun.com 80 Do you get a reply at all or does the connection just hang? Anders
