When installing S.u.S.E. next time, I want to set aside a > partition for backup. Is it possible to specify a new directory (ie one not part of the normal Linux tree) for mounting that partition?
Yes, of course, like /backup or something like that. You could create another partition and then create the /backup directory later, or when creating the partition you can specify the mount point in the lower right area of the window... and say /backup. DoPo
