As far as security holes, read the CERT announcements.
There are tons of security holes in the Linux tools, too.

Myself have found Windows 2000 a much better OS than any linux I've
worked
with, W2k always runs faster and has a well laid out GUI with polished features; KDE is clunky and slow with a 100x more bugs and hicups than you will ever find in Windows 2000.
I think Microsoft is excellent at developing a product if they concentrated there efforts on a version of linux they would blow the doors off all other linux companies. I have to disagree with you on ms putting out a good linux version, look at all the security holes in there os an bugs. I do think that w2k is much better then win9x ever thought about being, but suse is so much better an you get more then just an os with suse, you get 7 cds an one dvd with the pro version, an its cheaper then w2k is for a better value.
