Have the package pidentd installed, and set the variable START_IDENTD to "yes" in rc.config. I recommend, if you have a chance, finding and using a "fake" identd that just listens on a port and returns the information you tell it to, instead of looking on your system for it. -tara On Sat, Feb 16, 2002 at 02:52:13PM -0600, Jim Sabatke wrote:
I'm new to irc. I'm using kvirc and can't connect to a lot of servers because there is no response to the identd response. Any clues on how to get that working?
