I have a partion which is holding the chrooted applications which are bind8 and apache. I am thinking to use the "noatime" and "nosuid" options. I understood the noatime option yet the nosuid makes me think for the apache suexec how that is affected under nosuid option ?
Well, suexec has the suid bit set. nosuid means that suid bits aren't in effect. I'd say if you had functions in apache that depended on suexec they'd fail. regards Anders
