I'm a total newbie at web design and I've been tinkering with IBM Homepage Builder for Linux. It works, seems pretty straightforward, has some bugs so I've been using "Web Design In A Nutshell" (O'Reilly Pub.) to fix and clean up what it writes. It seems to write code that works great when using Konqueror as a browser and sometimes screwey when using Netscape as a browser, but this may be a general problem with browser compatability. This is one of the major complaints I have had with other web design tools (such as FrontPage or Netscape Composer). I have stuck to tools like Quanta or ASWEdit because they only do what you tell them to - bad code is your own fault then. ;-P So, how badly does HomePage Builder mess things up? What is it inserting that is a problem? Clayton -- This is Linux country. If you listen carefully, you can hear Windows reboot...
