I've tried applying the 2.4.16 patch from the Netraverse site as per their instructions - patch -p1 Kernel-Win4Lin3-2.4.16.patch >&2>& patch.log - and the patch command just freezes, not returning to a shell prompt. Needless to say, the kernel doesn't get patched! I've also tried this on a generic 2.4.16 kernel with the same result.
Anyone got suggestions as to how I solve this?
try patch -p1
