* Mav Rck (mvrck88@hotmail.com) [011228 08:23]: ->I am having problems upgrading glibc. It says error: failed ->dependencies, it conflicts with existing glibc. Can anyone help me out ->with the follwoing : -> ->1. How do I upgrade the current glibc to glibc-2.2-17 on Linux ->2.2.13-SMP ? ->2. Where can I get the RPM for that or the FTP site ? You would look under here: ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/update/6.3/ By looking here..there hasn't been an update in serveral months and I believe that SuSE announced that 6.3 and below have been end-of-lifed. It would most likely be a good idea to upgrade. Not because I want you to go out and spend money on the upgrade..but your software is quite old and out of support range...and by support I mean new packages/updates and such.
