I don't know about an autostart button, but there is an autostart folder on
your desktop. Any programs you place in there will be started when you
start/login to kde. Perhaps someone added a button to their panel that was
a shortcut to the autostart folder...in fact I think kde used to give you
the option to do this at one point during your first login. I don't think
it does any more. But the folder is on your desktop so why would anyone
want that? don't know...
Ciao,
John

I know that on the list there was a discusion about how to have something automaticaly run on KDE2. I am running a right out of the box SuSe 7.2 with KDE2. According to the manual there should be an autostart button but I cannot find it. Could somebody help me on the way.
