..Related to my post a couple of days ago- I have a box at my colo, and some mkreiserfs commands are studk in D stat, resulting in a system load of 13 (yes, 13). performance, however, is quite normal and neither CPU is ever below 98% idle. However, kill -9 won't budge the processes, and now that I try to reboot, nothing happens. Shutdown -r now just logs me out and hangs, as does reboot. Any clues as to a way I can reboot this machine? -mab -- ___________________ http://www.4am-media.com affordable web, slash and hotline hosting Mac OS X Consulting and Training Michael Bartosh mbartosh@mac.com 303.517.0272 Denver, CO "The surest way to corrupt a youth is to instruct him to hold in higher regard those who think alike than those who think differently." - -- Nietzsche Think Different.
