Hmmh, There seems to be a problem with DHCP initialization over the unitialized interface. If I assign a static address and add a route to my gateway, the chip works like a charm. Lucky to control my network, I can live with that. Even better, the next version of the driver 1.08.02 is ready, fixes the problem and might make it into 2.4.17. The LAN support for the embedded SIS900 doesn't seem to work. The driver loads, initialises and transmits, but no packet is going over the wire. WinXP works fine with the SIS900, so I assume something's amiss in the driver. Question: Has anybody successfully used the driver with a SIS735 or K7S5A mobo? Or is there a fix in the works somewhere? Thanks!
