Assuming that the 775 has the same USB interface as the 995, you don't need gphoto. You can simply mount the camera as a USB harddisk. I added this to my /etv/fstab: /dev/sda1 /mnt/nikon msdos noauto,user 0 0 The mount won't work if the kernel module usb-storage isn't loaded, so you may have to load if manually using: insmod usb-storage Alain
